Just reading Michaels quote from that game gives me chills. Nothing like that moment will ever happen in Olympic hockey again with the pros now involved. Of course the arguement from Canada and the USA back then was the Russians were pros.

I'd like to replace the Domi - Samuelsson call with either the Game 3 '87 Canada Cup (Gretzky to Lemieux GWG) or the '72 Summit Series game 8 Foster Hewitt classic "Henderson has scored for Canada".

I love the Domi call though for the exact reason the author states. It's such an un-PC call, but sometimes you just can't help yourself.

"You live by the sword, you're apt to die by it." - Love it!

It is a great call, and nobody deserved it more than Ulfie. As puck said earlier, it is the one good thing that Domi did (well, that's not quite true, that fight with the Philly fan in the penalty box was pretty good, too)

As much as I hated seeing those grape-smugglers win anything, Gary Thorne shouting "RAYMOND BOURQUE" as Sakic hands him the Cup gives me the chills every time. Love it.

I would have the same chills for Jarome Iginla, unfortunately, I think he'll have to do a "Ray Bourque" for any of us to hear it.

For some reason I can see Iggy looking pretty good in a red sweater. Red and white, perhaps? Yes. That sounds about right.

Well, the Wings are my dad's favourite team and he likes Iggy...I think I could live with it just fine as well.
