Pierzynski or Pinto for a number two catcher? 10 team roto, getting sick of waiting for d'Arnaud to do something.

is the second catcher a starter?? if so then I would go pinto.. If you only start one catcher, then no catcher(look at thread about owning a catcher as a U or bench)...

Assuming that you start 2 catchers, Pinto is the way to go though... He may only be hitting .230, but he has walked 15+ times, and he has 4+ HRs... the walks by themselves, show that he is a productive hitter, and even when Minnesota gets Willingham and others back Pinto should be a near everyday player...

Only problem is that Kurt Suzuki is playing almost as good as pinto offensively, and is a much better defensive player...

just watch if they adjust his PT when Arcia comes back... because A.J. is serviceable too (who's your #1? ...maybe you grab 'em both and make a trade?)

I like Pinto despite the possibility that he may lose some at bats. He has better numbers now and odds are, if both these guys are on waivers, you'll be able to get someone just as serviceable if you need to make a change later.

Easily Pinto. He should easily have a higher OBP and hit for more power than Pierzynski.

Pinto can DH though.

Thanks, guys. It is a two catcher league, and my #1 is McCann, who isn't exactly lighting the world on fire so far, but I'm pretty sure he'll come around. I thought I was lucky during the draft getting d'Arnaud for a number two, but as much as it pains me, he must go. Pinto it is.
