Dude on nfl.com has the Pats taking a CB. Can't say I agree but the dude is really solid.

A CB makes sense just not here IMO

Patriots swap 34, 68 for SF's 63,94 and Deebo is a rumor coming out of WEEI.

Why would SF want to trade Deebo? The guy is a beast. Are they having cap issues?

That trade makes no sense to me from the SF side of it.

Basically it's 34 for 94 and Deebo. Did Deebo die or something? That seems too good to be accurate.

Exactly. When Deebo isn't in the game for San Fran their production falls off significantly.

I'd take that trade in a heartbeat unless there's some weird contract dispute on the horizon.

Patriots selected Washington WR Ja’Lynn Polk with the No. 37 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
After taking Drake Maye with the third-overall pick Thursday, the Patriots give him what could be his top target for the 2024 season and beyond. Polk (6’1/203) was rumored to have elevated his stock throughout the pre-draft process. The Washington wideout ran a 4.52 at the combine but impressed in both the vertical and broad jumps. Polk totaled 110 receptions for 1,853 yards and 15 touchdowns over his last two seasons, playing opposite Rome Odunze along with Jalen McMillan while catching passes from Michael Penix. While he doesn’t possess the speed and burst we’d like to see, Polk made a name for himself hauling in contested targets, and has a contested catch rate of 51 percent over his college career. With ample experience out wide and in the slot, Polk will bring plenty of versatility to the New England offense once he gets acclimated. There isn’t much challenging his ascent up those ranks

Can you believe NE actually went with positiions most of us wanted? First time in decades. I wanted Mitchell and Rosegartner but oh well. Hope I was wrong.

What are people's thoughts for NE in round 4 tomorrow? They have the 3rd and 10th picks but no 5th round pick.

I like CB, TJ Tampa from Iowa if NE doesn't have a plan to go after someone like Gilmore. He was projected to be a mid 2nd rounder. Could be a steal? Not sure why he dropped so far?

WR, Brenden Rice, USC. He's 6' 2", 210# catches the ball well and had never fumbled in college.

I also like the RB from Tennesse. Jaylen Wright. Powerful, fast can make guys miss. A threat to go all the way and he's a 3 down back. Just not sure if I'd use one of our 4th round picks when we have no 5th and other holes to fill.
