There's nothing more for miami to do. They're not going to continue bidding against themselves. On the Harden front, no team want him since he is likely a rental

Nor should Miami do that, becoming obvious Portland has other plans. As for Harden yeah that’s one reason no one is interested in him.

Goes against everything the lottery and the draft have always been; welfare for the truly bad teams. A lottery tournament would actually encourage tanking until the tournament seeding was established.

You could protect it by saying players are only eligible if they played x% of games eligible

I agree that you need to limit teams after about 5 or 6 moving up

I’m just not sure how to do it

It’s a mess. Outside of hanging out with you guys and being forced to confront the reality, my reaction has pretty much been “Let’s go Phil’s. Let’s go Birds.” But you’re not wrong. I would swap Embiid’s name out for Nurse though. Nurse had no idea what he was getting into. Embiid has no one to blame but himself. He’s the team’s best player and he isn’t the same in the playoffs. He is the common denominator in every story of Sixers failure. He needs to take ownership of that and dominate in the playoffs and we aren’t here. He disappeared in the 4th quarter of game 6 at home in a close out game. Just unacceptable.

Just copy and paste into the media feature like always. I know at one point I had the same issue but it seemed to fix itself over time

I still like limiting teams' opportunity to #1, top 3, top 5 picks. Once you get the #1, you can't get top 5 for X years or #1 again for longer and build on that premise. Maybe a top 5 bumps you to the end of the lottery for a few years, etc.

You could still get tanking on a single year basis, but the value in repeating the tank is minimized.

But, if I click the link, it still takes me to the content.
