I guess I don’t understand why they don’t give them some time in Arkansas over high A. It seems like high A should be for prospects who didn’t dominate at low A. IMO give them time in AA this year cause that is where they will be to start next year.
I never understand the minor league moves. Maybe they are afraid of past mistakes of moving guys up too fast.I guess I don’t understand why they don’t give them some time in Arkansas over high A. But this time of year generally the tippy top AA prospects are either moved up to AAA or are in the major leagues aren’t they? I mean there are still some studs for sure but (IMO) it isn’t like Young or Gonzalez would be jumping from kids to men like the single A-AAA jump is.I never understand the minor league moves. That changed at some point for some teams. Some teams believe their AA locations are better than their AAA locations for developing. Mariners do that a lot. AAA is just an injured reserve for Mariners it seems like. Not real prospects vs lower levels. But this time of year generally the tippy top AA prospects are either moved up to AAA or are in the major leagues aren’t they? 100% I think Arkansas is a better gauge of an offensive player than Tacoma. I’m not a scientist so I don’t understand why Cheney Stadium has always been a massive hitter friendly park compared to TMobile. The rest of the PCL I understand because of elevation but Cheney Stadium is just up a little hill from the same body of water as Seattle and it’s fully open with worse wind. That changed at some point for some teams.
