Were they the worst players in sports on Sunday?

No, that would still belong to Mark Jackson, Derek Fisher, Derek Harper, Rony Seikaly, John Amaechi, Dillon Brooks, Grayson Allen, Deshaun Watson, Zach Wilson, and Ben Simmons.

How much deficit does Kevin O'Connor get for signing Mark Jackson?

Does he then get credit for letting him go in free agency?

Is the deficit greater than the credit?

Should O'Connor make your above list?

Team LeBron had 0 FTs.

Haliburton and Randle had the highest +/- on Team LeBron, at +9.

Jericho Sims would have been better off having a half naked picture of James Dolan in that envelop, than the number 50.

No, he tried to improve the team and it would’ve improved if Mark Jackson were a better person. At the time of signing, there was no reason for O’Connor to know that. This isn’t like an owner being upset that Dennis Rodman went to Vegas (non-rookie contract so they should know him).

It would have improved if Mark Jackson were more secure in himself. If Mark Jackson respected Stockton as he should. He could still be competitive, but to try to turn teammates is wrong.

If he wanted to start, he should never have signed with the Jazz. If he felt that he could win the starting job by playing well, and not sabotaging Stockton or the locker room, and he still signed, despite being the clear underdog, then more power to him. But if he signs as a back up, thinks he’s going to take over, that’s stupid. We were going to do well or do poorly with Stockton, it wasn’t going to be without him. If Jackson were better and would give us a better chance at winning, we were going to dig her own grave. We weren’t going to bench him.

I don’t think Jackson was better than Stockton, but if he were, I don’t know why Jackson would think that Malone would be as good with him. I think the Jazz back then were tougher than the Jazz last year, but you heard or read about how it was hard for the team with Mitchell and Gobert, and not winning. Imagine how it would be if Jackson succeeded in benching Stockton? It’s not simply inserting a player. It’s a locker room dynamic. If you’re talking about regular season wins, and that’s only if Jackson were better, fine, but if you’re trying to win something, you’re not going to accomplish that by replacing the legend.
