Sometimes the best move is to stand pat.

We have our best set of prospects we have ever had as a whole. I want to see what they can do. Any elite signing will take multi years and a trade like for Olsen we will have to give up prospects for only 2 years unless we get extension.

I don’t get that some think this is smart

That being said a corner OF like Suzuki sounds good. There is a chance he might be elite.

Yes we could have used a better pitcher than Teen and our catching is suspect. But the FA market at both is lacking

I tend to agree but nothing will produce nothing. I suppose it is how FO perfers to go. Now or later and how.

We haven't really. And we want till owners get serious. As long as we fill the seats nothing will change. Carrot before the horse theory is what they do. For years the NO Saints filled the stadium up and lost nearly all their games. People finally saw what was happening and owners began to change and today they are a winning team.
i think the owners opened the off-season serious about what they wanted to do but when the Lockout happened, they suddenly started thinking and shut down. now like @saddles has said they will bring in the Holt's and Culberson's

We've had arguably the biggest offseason in franchise history

To me, if they stopped now they did far more than I expected.
to me once they started, they should have continued. now they give me the feeling that they signed the FA's they did and then had second and third thoughts about their moves and withdrew their support for anything more.
