On paper, it looks favorable...

But as Chris Berman says, "Thats why you play the games"

that sucks we get both KC and TB on the road. Playing the AFC West is going to be tough, they are a talented division that really beat up on each other this year.

The 4th place schedule should give us a few more wins.

The home schedule in particular is the easiest we've seen in at least a decade.

This all seems to reaffirm the report that the team will not be broken up. One more year and if they can't rebound with that schedule then there really will be a big rebuild. But not now (hopefully, Ken Norton will be fired regardless).

Home schedule looks favorable but that road schedule looks murderess.

True but Both the Jets and Giants AT LUMEN.

Sounds like a good trade

Excluding division opponents, the home schedule looks super cupcake (Raiders are the only playoff caliber team and they barely squeaked in and need a new permanent HC, unless they go with what they have). The away one though is not easy though. Saints are always tough as long as they have Payton, Chargers/Chiefs are both playoff caliber teams, and Bucs with Brady is no duck walk.

Course ALL depends on the offseason. If Broncos trade or acquire Rodgers, do the Lions draft Pickett and ditch Goff, Giants have 2 top 10 picks, does that materialize anything, does Seattle retain Wilson, etc.

But if you take it as face value as of today, then my original statement still stands.

Unless I'm blind (and I just had an eye exam so would assume that's not the case), I miss the part where we play the Bears and Cowboys, unless we play them in preseason (which I have not seen). So not sure what your comment is all about.

Edit: Nevermind, I think you're referring to this list:

I didn't realize it was updated. Giants certainly have the ammo to trade 2 top 10 picks.

All said, Wilson is smart and not going to leak ANYTHING (hence his I love Seattle and not focused on this now) but he also has a no trade clause. Only he can drop that. So it's really all about whether Wilson wants out right now.

Denver is obviously a QB away from going deep. The Saints as long as Payton there are as well. The Giants are not a QB away from things... and they'd have to give up likely both their first rounders this year (top 10 picks) to get Wilson, so I don't get that move. That seems like something Ciara would push more than Wilson.

At least they won't be 1pm start times even though Seattle hasn't had problems with the time difference in a while . One of those two or both could be Sunday night games.

i would rather face the Jets and Giants on the road than KC and the Bucs lol.

Then again the Hawks have not been great lately at home. 3-5 this year at Lumen. Three wins at home for the Hawks is totally unacceptable for me lol.

AFCW is the only div other than ours where the last place team had a positive net scoring differential.

Buccs and Saints could be easier matchups on paper... With Payton throwing in the towel and the possibility of Brady retiring, the Buccs/Saints game could be a bit more in our favor...

Denver is an early favorite to end up with Rodgers when he leaves GB, so it sucks that we may see him again, but the NFC may be much easier to compete in if Brady retires and Rodgers leaves it. Peyton leaving is big too.

We have to improve schematically and get back to defending our home turf, but I'm pretty excited to get the majority of that schedule next year.

This 100%, We should be close to 8-0, 7-1 every year at home. THIS is what helps you be who you are. The Seahawks have the best fans in the NFL and they give everything they can to help the Hawks win at home. Lately the Hawks have not return the favor to the fans. 3-5 at home wont cut it not for me not for any of us.
