Huh? Was not expecting this at all
Gary has the talent. However he’s lazy and seems to be lacking the mental element. He can’t just go at the tackle without a plan and expect to make an impact
Hopefully all these negative opinions swirling around the internet about him will be harnessed into motivation to prove his doubters wrong.
Gary is more of a DE rather than an Edge Rusher. He was double and triple teamed at Michigan and possesses great quickness at 6-5 285. He would be better used as a DE in the 3-4.Gary has the talent. I have ready many reports on Gary that he was double or triple teamed in college which allowed others on the defense to make the big plays. Here he was rated the #4 player in all the draft

2019 NFL Draft Day 1 winners, losers: Redskins up, Giants down
Mike Pettine, Packers defensive coordinator: GM Brian Gutekunst just can't stop building up the Green Bay defense. He piled up picks for Pettine during last year's draft, spent huge money to sign three starters in free agency, including two high-priced pass rushers (Za'Darius Smith and Preston Smith), and then drafted another edge defender in Michigan's Rashan Gary with the No. 12 overall pick. (Just don't tell NFL.com's Gil Brandt it was a smart pick.)
With a second first-round pick in his pocket, surely Gutekunst would get some help for Aaron Rodgers, right? Nope -- he traded up with the Seahawks to snag Maryland safety Darnell Savage 21st overall. That's the fifth defensive back taken in the first two rounds over the last three years by the Packers. Perhaps the best weapon Rodgers can have will be only needing to score 20 points to win games.
44th pick is coming up shortly. Do they switch gears and go offense? I think so......
NFL.com has the Packers ranked 16th for this years draft. Funny how they can even give any team a ranking without the draft picks taking a snap on the field. We won’t know what GB has until game 1 of the regular season.
The so called experts have winners and losers. You can't rate a draft until at least a couple years because some of these gems turn out to be busts.NFL.com has the Packers ranked 16th for this years draft. Reminds me of how Mel Kiper rated the Lion's drafts so well right before they went 0-16.
