Oklahoma got two 5-star receivers, OSU kicked the tires bit but they didn't like his lack of size. Nebraska likes the speed and thinks he'll get bigger with this six foot frame.
About the frame, with the twitter pics if SF is 6’2” he’s pushing 5’10” standing next to Coach, not be all end all but something other than height doesn’t add up for me at the moment, time will tell I suppose, I differ to the coach’s here

He's slouching in that picture, he could be 5'10" but he has a legit 4.4 forty, laser timed. Legit track speed... He's not going to be confused with a five star stud coming out of high school. He will need to develop and get stronger, he's not a shoe in to be a game breaker but he has the speed to become one.

I guess what I'm trying to say is he's a good pick up but he's not going to be in anyone's super 6. Could be a sleeper pick though.

Gonna have a Junior Day thread up soon, and probably gonna start the 2020 recruiting thread soon as well considering the big event coming this weekend. I've been honing a Big Board for the spring as well, not ready to release it yet. There's a ton of names. This staff offers a lot of kids.

Anyway... in other news... Steven Parker is set to announce his decision at his school on Monday. So we'll know where he is going by then. That this point. Houston, Parker and MAYBE Bivens or Bland seems to be the ending. Nebraska has moved on from Matthew Pola-Mao who is now trending toward Kansas State AND has seemingly moved on from Jamel Starks as well. 2, maybe 3 more in the end. I could see us taking Bivens AND Bland or taking neither. Right now it looks like Houston and Parker or bust.

was Matthew Pola-Mao a good fit anyway? I thought the only reason we were after was because of the family tie to Noa Pola-Gates.

Nebraska thought they might want him at NT... the depth is thin there. But, upon looking into things it seems he may be more of a qualification risk than they initially thought AND there is some injury history there as well. They moved on, I'm not sure how much NPG's commitment had to do with the possibility of playing with his cousin if at all.

FYI... Nebraska's three remaining targets (as it would seem) are announcing next week. Here's what I have for them:

Steven Parker - Announcing at his school sometime Monday (guess would be in the morning) (between Nebraska, Texas Tech and Kansas)
Demariyon Houston - Announcing on signing day around 3:30pm CST (between Nebraska, Colorado, and Minnesota)
Eugene Asante - Sometime next week, likely on signing day (between Nebraska, Va Tech and North Carolina)

I think it's either Nebraska or Texas Tech... I wildw be surprised if it was Kansas. I think he visited there out of respect for the dude who recruited him to Tech (He's the WR coach at Kansas now) but I don't think he ends up there.

I like Nebraska's chances but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Guess so... Weird. Oh well, don't think Nebraska will miss him much in the end tbh.

Looks like Nebraska will only get Houston in the late period, really weird January session of recruiting for the Huskers. Likely not gonna get the pass rusher they really wanted in this class. In the end, gonna guess they go JUCO for a pass rusher and NG in the next class.

Miles has those SEC recruiting skills still and he did say it was an opportunity to better himself and his family.
