The later you pick in the first round, the earlier you pick in the second round. The first four picks should all be marginally close in points.

Besides sometimes I like to make some Milkian decisions.

then why not 3 or 4?? I personally agree about the 4 big RBs... I would have picked 3 first for the same reasons... But I would get a better chance of getting the player I want in the second round...

shit you not - I keep a beer koozie on my desk at work with this exact same graphic and saying on it

excellent reminder that every solution isn't found within the parameters of the game, regardless what game you're playing, but especially the corporate game.

Two reasons

1 How much do you want to gamble on injuries and hold outs?
2 Looking at a number of mock drafts, the 2nd pick seemed to end up with the best team IMO.

Yep, I get that; and I was actually torn between 1st and 4th. Getting back to back picks made my decision, but it wasn't a no-brainer, to be sure.

While I don't think you were both serious here, it's probably best to post this from the constitution just in case:

IV. The Draft:
i. A random drawing will take place to determine the order that each team gets to pick their draft spot. For instance whoever draws #1 gets to choose what draft spot they would like first. Whoever draws #2 gets to choose what draft spot they would like second, and so on and so forth until whoever draws #12 gets whatever spot is left. Divisions will be determined by the draft spot chosen. Division A will be draft spots #1, #4, #7, and #10. Division B will be draft spots #2, #5, #8, and #11. Division C will be draft spots #3, #6, #9, and #12. No trading of draft spots or draft picks is allowed. (amended 2016)

Who wants 1.1 for their first and another pick let’s get @Chef99 with it

Can't trade draft picks.

I will take #3

This is another one I don’t get. And sorry that I am sounding like an asshole questioning people. That is not what I am trying to do. I just like these type of debates. Aka the theoretical side of fantasy

You picking 3 is equal to obxyankee drafting 2. Where the pick right before it was still available.

If you had first choice and picked 3 I would understand that because it is 3 vs 1. That is a 2 pick difference. And that is enough to make a difference in the second round. But a 1 pick difference, the probability is that whoever would fall to you with that 22nd pick would have fallen to you better than the 2 in the third round too. So I see no advantage. Only a theoretical disadvantage.

Dude. And I mean this in the most respectful way possible.

It is a pick lottery. I like 3 and I would have taken 3 if I were first, 2nd or 3rd. I have my reasons. Now stop critiquing everybody's picks.

With the record tlance has in the MBBRL, he can choose to select 13th and I'm not questioning it.

Aretha Franklin, baby.

I should really start creating new threads so I can differentiate criticizing people with the theoretical fantasy I like debating. But the problem is nobody else likes debating this stuff.

I understand my reputation around here. Wish you guys realized I have never intended to criticize anyone.
