too bad his parents ran off every other top prospect in that recruiting cycle or Illinois could have been set up really nice for the future

Doesn't help that MSU and MD aren't playing either. Those are probably the two best teams in the B1G next season. And Purdue isn't either and they should be a tournament team. Not the best slate of games for sure. Not sure why MSU hasn't played a game in this series yet? Doesn't make any sense.

When the scheduling is done ahead of time, they have a 4-5 day window to try and get dates that work. So does the Champions Classic that MSU also participates in. The reports that came out last year was the dates lined up so that MSU could have had as little as 2 days between The Champions classic (playing Kansas) and then this event. Which even for Izzo is a brutal slate.

Plus I dont remember if they were in the last 4 years or not, but MSU has also done that basketball game at Ford Field with like 75k people or whatever against UNC I think. And they did the game on the aircraft carrier before people realized bball on a boat wasnt a great combo.

If Illinois keeps getting 5 star talent like that from Chicago, they will be set. Freshman class is pretty sweet and they played tonight without Frazier. Ayo and Frazier could be salty. Young but man...

They are so young that they’d still be fine as long as Ayo doesn’t go to the pros. Never know though either it’s only November

Wisconsin is good. One of my sleeper teams.

They return basically their whole team from last year which supposed to be pretty good.

Didn't see the game tho.

Depends on how you define good. Good chance they're back in top 4 of B1G, but they have questionable depth and I don't think they could sustain success if Happ got hurt
