I like this kid Baker Mayfield. He is shorter than desired but reminds me a bit of Russell Wilson. He is playing in an offense that is option based but he is a pass first guy. They move the pocket or he moves himself to get better throwing lanes (like Wilson) He is very accurate and makes quick decisions.

All that I would still like to see Cousin's signed long term.

Exactly, resign Kirk or Tag him again, get "The" guy that you want and fits. Then as Kirk works properly prepare the new guy and strengthen your hand going forward. Right now, we have zero options beyond Kirk, Colt is stealing money as a place holder with no upside.

Am I the only one not sold on Gruden?

I don't know that I'm ever really sold on any non belicheck coach but I think grudens done well. He's earned a bad year without getting fired I think.

I get what you are saying but I question if he is a good coach. I am not sure he properly prepares or motivates his players.

I like Gruden he's a pretty good coach, but he's going to need a helluva lot of talent around him in order to succeed:D

I think those are the things id question most about him too. I think offensively he does a great job and I like that he's usually pretty aggressive but he certainly isn't perfect.

At this point, I wonder if he is Norv Turner, except not as good an offensive mind.

Condolences, coach.

Your boy Josh Rosen was unofficially officially eliminated from the Heisman race today and hopefully all this nonsense that he's the best QB in college, he's not. When Memphis led by QB, Riley Ferguson, who out-dueled Rosen all day long, upset the UCLA Bruins 48-45.

Baker Mayfield after two games is the best QB in the nation and it isn't close.

Baker Mayfield, after three games, is by far the best QB in the nation.

Game 1 against UTEP 19/20, 329 yards, and 3 TDs. Rating 282.7
Game 2 against OSU 27/35, 386 yards, and 3 TDs. Rating 198.1
Game 3 against Tulane 17/27, 331 yards, and 4 TDs. Rating 214.8

He is also yet to throw an INT.

Last I looked Jackson was struggling against Clemson.

Rosen had a lot of yards and TD passes but two picks and should have been a couple of more.
