Someone calm me down. Tell me why I should not be excited about Greg Bell.

I have always said in college football speed can win games. In the NFL everyone is fast, in college football a fast guy can win you games.

Right now, Greg Bell is the starting running back if I was running the offense.

what was the deal with Mapieu? did i read somewhere he has academic issues?

I read the same thing. He is not qualified yet. But Bryson Williams is going to Wisconsin, Wisconsin academic standards are much tougher than Nebraska's. Plus, Wisconsin costs an arm and a leg for out of state students.

I think Bryson chose a pretty good academic school. I think the previous coaching staff was honest with him and did not jerk him around like some other schools would have. My guess, Riley was straight forward with Bryson and told him that Nebraska was going with Masry and they did not have room for him.

Frost came in, saw that Masry was having trouble and made the push for Bryson.

Hopefully, it all works out and Masry and Bryson achieve their dreams. Masry moreso.

Frost is going to go in on Masry in January, Messy was never going to be able to sign early and still had work to do. I think this was just a case of Frost prioritizing prospects that could sign early over those that couldn't.

Also, recruiting update, I think Honas could be N today or tomorrow

Bryson is a better player now, Masry has more upside imo, gotta learn to work though.

Yep! Honas is a HUGE addition to this class, should be a 4-star, likely is before signing day.

The video I watched of him just didn’t stand out much to me.

Eh?

Scat-back that can cut on a dime and shed tackles. Those are take it to the house guys.
Perfect fit for Frost's big play offense.

Perfect fit for Frost's big play offense.

See to me it looked like he lost his footing on his cuts. Or almost his legs give out and he manages to stay upright.

I just can’t tell if it’s the fact that he’s playing against a lower level of competition or if he really is for real. Time will tell.
