Only 2 wins over tourney teams (Princeton won 1 bid league and USC barely made in as play in game) and 0-6 against Top 3 in PAC. Needed better wins to get in.

This is always a good time for me to get great seats to SU games. The dome will be lucky to see 10K which everyone can get 1st level seats on the cheap. And after losing to BC.....getting a shot a Greensboro ,,, redemption is in my grasp.

They only had 3 wins against the field, and two of them wouldn't have made it, if they didn't win the auto bid. 1-8 against the at-large field wasn't going to cut it.

The game will be played at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The broadcast of the game has been moved from ESPN to ESPN3.

A source indicated that Syracuse University officials decided to postpone the game early Tuesday afternoon. The NCAA, which operates the NIT, had to approve the university's request to postpone the game.

The severe winter storm that has socked the East Coast with large amounts of snow forced the postponement.

The UNC Greensboro team and its traveling party arrived in Syracuse on Monday afternoon.
