I didn't know that.
"If Roll Tide was a Picture."
They would look like Auburn grads???
So, while I'm absolutely biased, this is the most exciting time of year for me in sports, closely edging March Madness.
I have been probably 15 Iron Bowls I would say, with my Father and I having ST's growing up (during the 'lean' years when they were affordable), and I went to all while at UA (2004-2008), and have been to just one since (Kick Six).
I think this is going to be similar to those tight, close Iron Bowls, and Vegas agrees. As much as I love to watch Auburn lose each week, this game is just more special when both teams are playing well and there are stakes at play.
I don't doubt that we are the best defense Auburn will play since Clemson, whereas Auburn has the best offense we've gone up against all year. If our offensive line can make holes for Harris/Bo/Jones/Harris, then I'll feel good about this game. We all know Ridley is an elite WR, but I would love to see Jeudy come up and make this game a statement.
Defensive plan for Alabama is simple, make the Tigers one dimensional by stopping the run and getting an early lead. Since we play man to man, this would really be key to the outcome whether or not Auburn can successfully run the ball and move the chains.
I feel better about Alabama winning, but I'm not sure what on what I think the scoreline will be.
We have struggled against press man. That worries me this week. Great post!!!
Don't you wish you or your rival were relevant this year? It's okay, you can borrow our rivalry this year.
