Why do you dislike Kerber?

Because she isn't Serena...... I simply like Serena.

I actually preferred Lisciski (sp?) to Kerber and always thought her better. Kerber always seemed bitchy and sullen till last year when she was winning. My impression anyway.

Did you see Pat Cash accuse Roger of cheating with that medical time out? Legal cheating?

I saw the headline, but I didn't want to read it. I didn't care what he had to say about the topic.

Lisicki has had some tough injuries.

From the FO thread:

Serena will need to start working on just about every part of her game more, or this is going to keep happening.

She can't just depend on the serve anymore.

Nice seeing new blood win. I like Muguruza.

Did Serena improve? Or did she face opponents who were less likely to be bad matchups for her (good movers)?

Before the Finals, I love how Venus said "there's a runners up trophy that they give you if you don't win, but no one wants that thing."

Just the way she described it, as so disgusting, was funny.

I posted that back when she was serving pretty badly, and the rest of her game suffers when that happen.

I pretty much just think that if she has her serve going, she's pretty much unbeatable. When it's not working, she's vulnerable to great movers. Especially on clay, but it's true of all surfaces.

Her serve was clicking at this tournament.

Are there any matches the past 1 - 2 years that she lost when she was still serving well? Are there any that come to mind?

Also, Venus uses a slice second serve, right?

Question. I can see LZ Granderson's posts on Facebook, but can't comment on them.

Why not?

I don't think I'm blocked, because his name shows up in search results.

I want to comment on his tennis post.

Does anyone know why I can't comment on his posts?

I see others are able to comment.

From what I understand about FB, if you can view a post, you should be able to comment.

Federer was 0-9 on his break points chances in the 5th set alone, during the first few games.

Regarding Serena, I can't remember any. But I haven't watched all of her matches. Pretty much just at majors, and not even all of those.

Venus seems to doing a slice 2nd serve more, I agree. Her first and second serve have been ugly for awhile. She still gets velocity on the 1st, but the way she jerks her head down instead of going up and in to the ball is weird to watch.

I agree with this. Her motion seemed off compared to the way it used to be.

Not seen Fed hit/flatten this many bh against Nadal. When he hits winners like this off his bh wing you just have this feeling he is gonna win the match against Nadal or anyone. The surface seemed fast and this helped Fed I think. He will be full of confidence now. Maybe two clay Masters like Hamburg and Rome and/or Monte Carlo. I feel he gets a clay win over Nads his confidence would be sky high. He has come so close to beating Nadal in some of those non Hamburg finals.
