2016 UBC (Ultimate Bookie Challenge)

At the urging of a couple posters, let's see if we can get this thing going again. Each week, odds will be posted and you can pick any combination of games, using the spread. In the parlay, you can also use total points. I'll use the odds from William Hill, current as of the time of posting.

You need to pick 2 best bets (2 different teams using the spread only) and a 3-pick parlay (spread or total points). I'll do my best to put this up by Wednesday each week and update scores on Tuesday. If you are a player and notice it hasn't been updated, go ahead and shoot me a reminder OR post them yourself.

Best bets are worth 1 point each. Parlay is worth 3 points if you reuse picks from the best bets or 5 points if you use 3 different picks than you used in the best bets.

All players are welcome. One can be a chip player or just play for fun. 20 chips gets you in the race for the winnings. However, only those that send in their chips by 11/1 are eligible to win back chips. PM me to get the info on how to send in your chips (it'll be through Paypal...or by mail if for some reason someone here doesn't have Paypal).

I'm confused by the Parlay bet. Parlay bet you're combing bets, so what am I combining? everyone is picking either line or over/under

You pick any three games, over/under bets or against the spread...but you have to win all three to win the points. Best bets are a point at a time.

If you use any of your best bets in the parlay, it's only worth 3 points, if they are all different from the BB's, you can win 5 points. Is the way I remember it.

Keeps me interested in what other teams are doing, plus it's good for trash talk around here.
