I see Edmonds like Raines and Rice. Someone that stays on the ballot for fifteen years and may or may not make it.

Edmonds was a better player by a pretty good margin.

I look at all three as the type that are on the fence between HOF and Hall of Very Good. I would have no problems with Edmonds making it.

Edmonds is not a HOF, he might be on the fence, but i see him very low on the fence... While Raines IMO is a clear cut HOFer
