Hell, if all we are going to talk about is how much money we can make, lets bulldoze the stadium, it costs a fortune to maintain and operate, and just go from one neutral site pay to play game to the next. No one is crying, my friend, our AD said just a couple of weeks ago that he wants to play an NFL type schedule where the team is challenged each week, the same AD who bought out games with FSU to replace with JMU at a neutral site, and GAST at home this past year, the same AD who bought out of the MSU series and has Alabama at a neutral site, plus a 1AA team in 2015, now buys out of ECU to play ANOTHER 1AA team......Just saying.

Whole lotta wrong in this post...

That seems to be what a lot of you "fans" are wanting, BB. Indeed it is wrong to claim to want a stronger schedule, but trade a H-H with FSU for Georgia State and JMU.

However... that is not what happened. You know this though... don't you?

This is an epic battle of the minds: The knowledge and smarts of a Rhodes Scholar (Luck) versus the backwoods logic of the high commander at the "hunting camp"--you make the judgment for yourself on this one as to who is right.

Seeing as Luck threw away all of WVU's rivalries and even convinced some that the backyard brawl doesn't matter, said we would quickly make new rivals, BUT is now scrambling to try to get sPitt, VPI, and PSU back on the schedule........There may be some correct thinking coming from the hunting camp.

So Dad is criticizing luck for buying out a series with FSU for 1-AA teams but yet is crying about canceling games with the "mighty pirates" of ECU for Tennessee? Yeah, that's sound logic coming from the hunting camp indeed. L frickin O L

Which do you consider rivalries? FSU, Michigan St., Marshall, or ECU?

I am still not sure what all the complaining is about, we still are going to play in NC against a name opponent and make some big bucks doing it.....would have playing @ ECU and making nothing really make some people happier?

Look at Bamas OOC next year, besides WVU, they play southern miss, Western Carolina, and Fla Atlantic. I think one year of a weak OOC will not kil the program even though some born and breed WVU fans hope that happens! They get mocked for it, but if they win those games they are still in the title hunt.

"
To give Alabama a bit of credit, West Virginia was coming off of 10 wins in 2011 (including a 70-33 Orange Bowl route of Clemson) and seven wins in 2012 when this Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta was scheduled.
The Crimson Tide get no such credit for scheduling home games versus FAU and Southern Mississippi while also making sure to add its historical late-November nap versus an overmatched FCS squad.
In 2013, Bama hosted Colorado State, Georgia State, and Chattanooga. In 2012, Western Kentucky, FAU, and Western Carolina came to Bryant-Denny Stadium. For fans in Tuscaloosa and around the country, it would be a refreshing change to see the Crimson Tide schedule a home game versus a major BCS non-conference opponent."

According to Phil Steele WVU has the 12th toughest schedule this year; Alabama has the 99th toughest schedule. They will play 3-4 ranked teams at best. We will play against 5-7 ranked teams
