Me??? I read that he was better at run blocking and Woerner from FSu dominated him two years ago. I wanted Carl Davis the DT. Ajaii has knee issues supposedly.

No not you, the fuckers in the draft room

If I was a Cowboy fan I wouldn't question there ability to pick Olineman. But as an Eagles fan why would we draft a 7th ILB with gaping holes at Guard.

That can't stop the run from what I thought I heard

Is there a DT on the roster that I don't know about that has them pass on Brown in the 1st and then Bennett in the 3rd? Serious question

McClain showed flashes last yr but nothing consistent. Bishop and Coleman both had moments in preseason and managed to stay on the team. Whalen was injured all yr. We signed another guy recently as well.

Those are our 1 technique guys. Crawford was the 3 tech guy. The 1 tech guys could use an upgrade-yes

And Brent should come into camp in better shape. Still time for a DT. Could use an upgrade but don't need one. Added really 3 pass rushers this year. Hardy, Gregory and Lawrence for more than a few games. I really like Bennett, but is he really big enough to be a 1 tech in this D? In the nickel we are going to get 3 of those DEs and Crawford on the field, so you are mostly looking for a run stopper that you can still get in later rounds

Listening to the secret phone call to Gregory made me think the way he handled himself in that last interview helped him. Garrett praised him on how he handled himself during the draft.

I forgot about big Josh. You are correct about nickel defense .

This was written before we picked him. Sounds like there is some potential here. We need him to be good enough to be the swing Tackle this year and then see what happens from there. We ain't going to see a year 1 benefit unless someone gets hurt. Would be nice if he develops into a starter and pushes Free out the door or to the bench in a year or two, but just being a solid #3 T would be OK. Before this pick if Smith or Free went down we would be done. After this pick? Who knows. Hopefully we look back in a couple of years and like it.

Obviously there is going to be a lot of Ajayi talk surrounding our 3rd round pick and going forward until he is picked. I just don't think they like him that much and it seems the other teams don't either. I think if one of the D Johnsons was there we would have taken them and in retrospect that's what I would have preferred.

On Ajayi. I watched some of that LT NFL Network show with the RBs and didn't get a good feeling for Ajayi at all.. He didn't look as comfortable as any of the other guys doing the drills and he seemed kind of annoying. So I went backed and watched a bunch of highlight videos (doesn't mean much but I wasn't going to watch their games). Every player should look great in the highlight videos and it's not a good way to judge him, but I really don't think this guy is going to be a top runner. Didn't see the speed, vision, ability to make guys miss or balance that you see with other guys and for a guy his size I just didn't see enough power. Hope I'm wrong because I think there is a chance we take him, but I'm guessing there is at least one other RB around that we like better and that's why we didn't take him.

I just realize Iko Ekpre-olomu is still on the board. We know Jerry likes to role the dice on a injured player. He's going to be the pick and I'm behind it.

So I guess they have a secret plan to address RB?

Ryan Russell.

In my humble opinion, there were better defensive ends out there than him that were more ready for our scheme. Did not like this pick at all.

Yes. The plan is to dominate the line of scrimmage.

Seriously though, I guess between Ryan Williams, Randle, and McFadden Dallas thinks they have enough. Let's hope they are right.

I kinda feel the same, but watching Anthony Hitchens last year has taught me to be patient with the draft process.

That plan worries me. I sure hope they're right.
