Wow, so that's basically it, we got two players out of this draft in Rowe and Agholor. First impressions of this draft is solid in the first two rounds, horrible after that.

Well time to get some things done in the house....We won't be picking for about 2 hours now....I'll keep it on in the background.

It's always a sound move to trade a pick for one in the next year one round higher, IMO. I'd do that each year.

Yeah I like that trade for us, especially with what was left on the board. We'll be without a 2016 2nd, so it will be nice to have two 3rds next year. Potentially another 3rd or 4th in 2016 depending on Bradford as well.

Maybe we trade a 6th plus a later pick next year to get back into late 4th or 5 this year. Maybe!

Doubt we want anyone bad enough to jump back into the 4th. I could see us jumping into the 5th, perhaps selecting a QB like Cody Fajardo.

This trade makes the Hicks pick even more of a head scratcher for me. We needed to address the offensive line.

So far Hicks is the only head scratcher for me. I really like what we did in rounds 1-2 and 4

I really like Agholor and I really like Rowe, after that this is a horrible draft. This team needed more young offensive lineman. Aside from defensive back that was the most glaring need on this team. You don't go out and get a medical reject of a QB and then don't protect him. They are one injury away on the offensive line from disaster. The Hicks pick really screwed this draft and that happens when you got an inexperienced GM running the show.
Now with that said the Eagles could add some veteran depth on the offensive line as backups and that could satisfy them for this year. I just don't know how tow years in a row they can swing and miss on the offensive line.

It is not a sexy trade but chances are they wanted one of those o linemen that went before them so they opted to trade out. Since they are short picks next year due to the Beadford deal this could prove smart.

There wasn't much value left at OL at pick #113, so I understand trading for a future 3rd -- that's a smart trade IMO. I think for this year our starting 5 OL will be very sound. I think Mathis accepts that he's not worth as much as he thinks he is, and he shuts up and plays just like last year. With Peters, Mathis, Kelce, Barbre, Johnson - that is a very nice starting 5. Matt Tobin is a good reserve lineman. Did we need a young OL (or two) to groom, absolutely. We should've targeted an OL in the 3rd, not Jordan Hicks when we have two absolute studs with Kiko and Kendricks, then Ryans/Jones/Goode as backups…but I guess everyone all of a sudden thinks Kendricks sucks and should be traded for peanuts. In the 4th, there wasn't much value left and we'll need that future 3rd since we will be without a 2nd in 2016.

Exactly the Hicks pick screwed up what was shaping up to be a solid draft. Chip inexperience as a GM and in the NFL really hurt this team in this draft. You have to understand the draft board and what is going on around you better. That to me was the downfall of Howie last year and why I thought they might have let him go. Looks like the same issue this year.

I just simply don't get the Hicks pick ... we didn't trade Kendricks and I highly doubt we just drop him with a year left on his rookie deal. To me that's just stupid ... you're talking about a kid who covers a ton of ground and has averaged 90+ tackles and 4 sacks the past two years. We bring in Kiko, we extend Ryans ... who do you play where?
