Jeff Janis as a mid-6th round pick is a steal and a half. I have. 4th round grade on him.

So after the combine is complete how much longer do you want to wait to start the 2nd draft? I would say at this point it would be good to wait till mid-march so that most of Free Agency can be done and people would have a lot better idea of where their team is going to be looking come draft time.

Mid-March sounds about right. That would allow teams to sign players in the first wave of free agency & give us a better idea of their draft needs. The draft this year doesn't begin till May 8.

Yeah I would say that could be a good idea. Might keep more people interested with more picks for their teams. People need to remember though with those that they cannot trade Comp Picks. See this happen every year where people get excited about those and the trade capabilities they gain with them but that just isn't the case.

Yeah, we will make sure that is part of the rules page that everyone will see... I think we should start gathering people for the league maybe some time late next week, that will give us a solid 3 weeks to get it filled up, and I dont remember who came up with the idea but having some team have an alt GM is a great idea.

Yeah I had made that recommendation. Starting to find those GM's by then should definitely help out in being able to find a back up GM for each team. Only thing with waiting till late next week is you might lose some of the momentum of the Combine and people being excited about the draft. Then again that could weed out some of those that are excited for a week then a week later forget that they actually signed up for this thing.

I like the idea of having a rules page so everybody is on the same page. This draft has worked out well but definitely the beginning started out a bit rough with people not understanding the trading side of it and also then with say somebody misses their draft spot what is supposed to happen.

I know this is early to vote on rules but I do think kind of like we have done here at the end where you miss your pick you just keep getting pushed down. Don't think somebody should be rewarded with a high rated player on a big board for not getting a pick in especially when you can send in a list.

When I ran these on cBS, we were able too keep people interested because we took the time to
find GM's we knew would be active, so taking a few weeks to put it together I think is a great idea.

The rules page is key and now that I have MOD ability on the NFL board I can make sure everyone knows where to find stuff if I am involved in setting up the new mock.

I agree but honestly if we find good people we shouldnt be worried about so many missed picks.

That might have been me when I assigned a few of my war room guys as spot-fillers while I was away a few weekends ago. But definitely should be something that every team needs for the next mock if it happens.
