ABC game of the week...upstart Iowa Hawkeyes 6 and 0 going into the horseshoe to face Urban Meyer's Buckeyes who have never lost a game since he became coach in Columbus. That's right folk's, we have a real woodshed brawl here. Iowa is led by All American candidate in Carl Davis who leads the country in sacks with 14, and a Larry Czonka type running back in Mark Weisman who leads is on pace for 1800 yards and 28 TD's. Heisman candidates Braxton Miller leads a Buckeye team who is trying to take over the #1 ranking with Alabama losing to Arkansas led by ex Hawkeye Bret Beilema. Oh Momma Mia, the irony...

WMU, Minnesota, Purdue and MSU= wins, OSU = lose, every other game is a toss up imo.

I have to agree, I think we can win the next 3 going into the bye week, but me thinking it and it happening are 2 different things, I just know we have the ability to make it happen, and am hoping it becomes reality.

Don't sleep on the waking Giant....OSU will not destroy the 5 and 1 Hawks...ranked Hawks at that...

Even if Iowa blows out MSU, I don't think they will be ranked. Iowa is 36th in the coaches poll and hasn't gotten any votes in AP Poll. MSU is 33rd on both polls. I don't think 5-1 Hawkeyes will be enough to get them ranked.

I do agree that the Buckeyes won't blow Iowa out. I would be very surprised if Iowa wins though.

It was interesting to see how Wisconsin did against OSU, I feel Iowa and Wisconsin are very similar. OSU has a lot of speed and Miller is a difference maker, but we have to focus on MSU first and foremost. No losing site of the next game, which I feel KF will not allow.

I think though we are seeing why KF hired Davis, I am much more pleased this year and guess last year JVB was just not able to adjust, but it sort of hacks me off cause if Jake had some snaps, perhaps we beat NIU instead of a loss. Why not get your QB some snaps in preparation for next year when they were facing some teams down the stretch in 2012...very odd.
