Are you going to post the full Insider article? Otherwise, that's just a tease. ;)

J/K, thanks.

Are we on that list or are they talking about contenders or starting jobs?

I probably should wait until the All-Star break, but what do you think of Hornacek now? I think that Bledsoe deserves a lot of credit and that GM deserves a lot of credit for getting Bledsoe, however, I do think that it was Hornacek who played him in a good system for him and they're doing well. I think that if the Jazz were to cease to exist, I would become a Phoenix Suns fan. A lot of that has to do with location, but now also coaching.

His results show that he's a rookie coach.

He is 11-6 over the top half of the league.
However, he is 9-6 over the bottom half.
That includes two losses to Memphis and two to Sacramento. And one to Utah.
He is 5-6 against the top 8 (OKC, MIA, SA, POR, GS, Clippers, HOU) Have not played Indiana.
4-0 against those hovering around .500 (DAL, TOR, DEN) Haven't played Atlanta or Minnesota.
5-2 against the next 7 (NO, MEM, CHA, Lakers) Haven't played Washington, Chicago, or Detroit. Both losses to Memphis.
6-4 against the rest (Nets, PHI, SAC, UTA, ORL, MIL) haven't played Boston, New York, or Cleveland.

Nine wins over 10 points. Three losses over 10 points. Biggest win - 27 points (Lakers). Biggest loss - 29 points (Golden State).

They only average a three point win. However, that is standard for the league to be in that range, wins or losses. They are 8-7 on the road and 12-5 at home. 15 and 10 in the stronger conference. 5-2 and the other. They have 23 more games against Eastern conference, the most in the league.

If they continue this rate, taking the conference games, they will finish with the 52-30 record. They were 25–57 last year. At this point, last year they were 11-21. I think Indiana, Oklahoma City, Mianeh Miami, San Antonio, and Portland deserve coach of the year consideration. I think that Hornacek might as well be considered too.

They are 12-20 against themselves, however. ;)

Some of the losses were really close, however part of coaching is winning those games. They also won a bunch of games by small margins, which may exaggerate some things. I would be pleased if I were Phoenix fan. Houston was the team I watched but didn't root for last year. Phoenix is the team this year. Portland is doing well, too, this year but I don't care for them.

I think Phoenix is where they should be. They could be sixth place and they could be in 11th place. It's a place sounds good for now, we'll see if they can get up to sixth.

I predict 1-7 or 2-8 next game - not because he is band, but you try to ride it sometimes and sometimes it doesn't work.

Mea culpa. He followed up this game with a 1-1 game. DeShawn Stephenson, Burks, or even young CJ Miles would have jacked up 7 or more than next game, making 1 or 2.

DeShawn.

(The spelling of his 1st name is easy for me to remember).

I don't get how he stayed in the league so long - 41% as a center. He NEVER shot well. He wasn't EVER a blocker. His rebounds per game was never fitting for his height. He, of course, is not a scorer.

He IS 7 feet tall. Again, 41%.

He stayed in the league so long because of grimm010's nickname for him -- Jarron Jet.

Wrong twin brother.

I had misread your post. When you said "His brother was better", I thought you were talking about Jason, not Jarron. That's why I had tried to support grimm010's liking of Jarron, by reminding you of grimm010's nickname.

But apparently we (MHSL82 and nuraman00) were in agreement that Jarron was better.

Houston scored 73 in the first half and 19 in the second - the biggest negative disparity between two halves (of the same team in the same game, obviously).

On their last possession, everyone refused to shoot the ball - it was like hot potato with no one guarding them until finally someone took the ball and just dribbled the clock out.

Is that a record for all NBA games in history?
