Polk was a very good college player and had a decent nfl career with the chargers.
I remember Dan Alexander, that dude was huge, really good speed for his size, he ended up leading the arena league in rushing for acouple years too

Todd Millikan holds Nebraska's career touchdowns record by a Tight End.
Hometown Shenandoah Iowa.

#43 in this photo. Not before my time but I was off in Mississippi in the military at the time (1988) so I didn't get a lot of NU info. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Bob Pickens: An offensive tackle, Pickens played just one season under coach Bob Devaney after transferring from Wisconsin. He earned All-Big Eight honors, helping the Huskers lead the conference with 318.8 yards of total offense per game in 1966. He was also a member of the 1964 U.S. Olympic wrestling team.

Chris Spachman: DT (1984-86) The Kansas City, Mo., product was a three-year starter for coach Tom Osborne. He earned All-Big Eight honors for his play on the field and his performance in the classroom.

No photo that I can find.

Once again I was in the military only in Berlin Germany at this time.

Lucky for you that you have the luxury of typing this in a message board forum because we both know you can't honestly say that with a straight face.

Suh best DT in recent memory, 2nd pick in NFL draft
Wistrom, best DE in recent memory, over 50 nfl sacks, 6th pick in NFL draft
Rucker over 55 sacks in the NFL, 38th pick in NFL draft
Jason Peter, all american top 15 NFL pick
Trev Albets 5th pick in NFL draft (more of a DE LB hybrid)
even add Kyle Vanden Bosch, 34th pick in nfl draft over 42 nfl sacks and counting
Adam Carriker all american, top 15 NFL draft pick
CHris Kelsay over 22 nfl sacks, 48th pick in draft

these guys would hold their own vs anyone.....
