I was pretty good at defense, not super great or anything, but I hit balls pretty far.

I pretty much do the same out at beer league softball now, except I have a lot more energy since they don't make you waste your time rounding the bases.

I was in a softball league a bit ago. It is weird, every time I got up to bat they shifted comically to my right. Not sure why people think you can't place the ball where you want in slow pitch.

Yea they do that to me too, I can place the ball, but if I got two people on base or bases loaded, and we have HR's left, I just hit it out.

Me and my brother are starting a tournament team here soon, the tournament team i used to be on, every single kid either played D-1 or played pro baseball except me.

I got offered to play NAIA a few years ago after trying out, for a team in Bama, but it didn't work out.

I had terrible grades in High School because I never showed up, or else I probably could have played D-2.

My brother is ridiculous tho, he's a lot smalled than me, he's like 5'10 180, but he hits balls well over 400 feet.

It also describes Mebert, only much worse.

Teach him how to pitch side arm

I wish, he isn't interested... he wants to play basketball... he's 12 and he's 5'7" 175... he's a beast on the base, he just struggles to hit and doesn't try to get better... hopefully he'll get to be 6'8" and we can move to basketball

Oh that's cool then lol

Me and my brother both played year round travel ball from the time we were 8 or 9, I never had time to play other sports.

I would always foul a monster into left field and they would shift and back up. Then, I'd wait for an outside pitch and rip it down the first base line. I usually got 3 that way, but they would catch on by my 3rd at bat and I'd have to bloop a single into shallow left the rest of the time.

We used to keep a couple bottles of vodka behind the backstop for motivation. If we couldn't remember the game. We knew we played well :L
