Playoff Jimmy has really upped it this series, especially the last 2 games.
Incredible.
Incredible.
Lol true but ny beef with him for the low minutes for Jimmy & Bam was low on my list of complaints. My top 2 was not having the team ready to play against bad teams & too slow to make changes to the rotation such as removing love from the starting 5 & vic from the rotation...those were obvious changes that he should have made sooner than he did
Yeah but i disagree with certain parts of it
Very fair. I just don’t know why anyone would expect the man to say “Yep, I’m a failure. We failed.” He put spin on them falling embarrassingly short of their goal.I think it was a fair question, but could have been stated better. Especially when asked of a guy who just suffered a very disappointing loss.
You're in the convo for the best player in the league, your team is the #1 seed. A 1st round flameout is a failure.
I get Giannis' overall point...but it's hard to see this as anything else.
This has to be one of the most shocking failures in NBA history.

Because in that moment he really feels like a failure.I wouldn't expect him to call himself or his team failures. But I also think there's nothing wrong with saying something like "Our goal was a title and we failed to reach that goal. We needed to be better." The way he answered it came off as defensive and like he's looking for excuses.
Had Giannis not gotten injured game one he wouldn't have missed time in the series. With a 100% Giannis no way the Bucks would have lost 4-1.
Honestly, we simply lack talent. Jimmy, Bam and Tyler is all he really has to work. I love Dipo’s defense though.Doesn't change my thoughts. I actually just listened to a heat podcast and they said the same thing i said all season on here lol. He didn't have a good regular season by his standards but none of that matters now. Him & Jimmy made this season matter again. They have met my postseason expectations i had for them in preseason......now let's get greedy

He is right though.
Obviously losing in the first round is a huge disappointment.
But end of the day, only 1 team wins it all.
If you fall short, you fall short. Long term we won’t remember this loss unless these moments become pattern for the Bucks.
Yup had they went down in a conference finals to boston or Philly then i would understand his answer. The 8 seed making quick work of you in round 1? Epic failureI disagree. You're arguably the best player in the league, your team is the #1 seed, the team you're playing is without it's #2 scorer and you lose in a gentleman's sweep in the 1st round.
That's failure. The kind that gets coaches and GM's fired and players traded away.
Heat in 5! Congrats manBucks in 5

Yeah man.Coach Bud fired.....and he coached through his brother dying during the playoffs.
Damn.
