The end zone play really didn't matter, but it would have been good to teach that kid a lesson though. He got away with murder. The California coach was way too cool about it after the game. That running back would be sitting on the bench the next game or two if I was the coach. Theses kids have got to learn to respect the game, and stop hotdogging!

The biggest play was the 3rd down play when the receiver did not have control of the ball while getting one foot down on the sideline. That killed us. I know Texas probably got some good calls as well, and it all even outs in the end, but that play sealed our fate.

Yeah you're correct. I seen a ball just sitting on the ground and players running right by it instead of picking it up and running the other way. Yep happens all the time
What the fuck does running the other way have anything to do with it. Since your initial claim, you've said THREE completely irrelevant things to back it up.
Haines ran straight to the ball and picked it up before the whistle blew. That is all that matters. He could have been picking it up as a courtesy to the fycking ball boy with intent in his heart only to go get some skittles after the game... It doesn't fycking matter, you soft brained dunce.

He ran, directly to the ball, picked it up with his hands to gain possession, before the whistle blew. That is all that matters

Now that I agree with. I was actually hoping they would call it a touchback, texas go down score a td and go for 2 to win that game. That would have really gave that kid a lesson

Man, remember way back when when I called you a soft brained dunce. I didn't mean it. It was just the anger talking.

You're a waste of time to debate with. I seen this happen several times in the NFL. It was not an immediate recovery. And if dude really thought it was a fumble why didn't he start running the other way? Only the Cal RB thought it was a fumble. Everyone else didn't.

I've seen it happen later than that and be allowed.

They should just create an immediate standard.

That was absolutely the wrong call last night.

The ball was still moving. The refs straight blew that call.

Maybe top 25. They will continue to get better with experience.

Not with Bedford as the DC. Our offense is legit, probably top 5 in the country. But Bedford will be the reason this team loses 5-6 games & gets Strong fired, but that will be Strong's fault for not firing him last year.

Barring any major injuries, they'll get better. Promise you.

Why do you dunces love Burt. He drops lots of balls, misses blocks wholly.

Even the big TD catch against nd, it went through his arms and he had to pin it against his belly button.
