It really doesn't matter. That call had nothing to do with the outcome. I just disagree with the call. Even the RB knew he fucked up immediately when he turned around to look at the ball until the whistle blew and he knew he got away with it.

This is why every college stadium should have a student section in the end zone. Had he had people to go jump in the stands he wouldn't have dropped it

Or have a ball depository at the end of the end zone.

The defense was not good.

But that call was wrong and it would've been fun to see the frosh have to lead a late drive like that to tie the game.

I just watched it for the first time. I left the bar as soon as he passed the first down marker.
Haines picks it up before the whistle blows and it was about two seconds after the runner fumbles it AND there was no "ball just lying around" period.

It was a bullshit call.

That being said, we deserved to lose that game because of fuck cock fuck coaching

2 seconds after is not an immediate recovery.

There is no way they were giving Texas that ball unless a texas player picked up the ball IMMEDIATELY

Like ran straight to it and picked it up with his hands before the whistle blew? Like that kind of immediately?

You're a waste of time to debate with. I seen this happen several times in the NFL. It was not an immediate recovery. And if dude really thought it was a fumble why didn't he start running the other way? Only the Cal RB thought it was a fumble. Everyone else didn't.

2 Texas players ran right by the ball. The Texas player who finally picked up was the 3rd texas player. It's not an immediate recovery if 2 players from your team ignore the ball as well.

What the fuck does "thought it was a fumble" have anything to do with this , mr debater?

Yeah. You e never seen guys go past a fumbled ball while another guy gets it, right, mr debater? It only happens every week.

2 Texas players ran by the ball. Good luck selling that it was an immediate recovery when 2 players clearly ran by the ball

Yeah you're correct. I seen a ball just sitting on the ground and players running right by it instead of picking it up and running the other way. Yep happens all the time

Meh

Offensive penalties and turnovers did this one in.

The offense put up 43 points, but it felt like a disappointing out of sync 43.
The turnovers and offensive penalties made 43 points seem like they underachieved a bit.

TEXAS honestly should have scored 60-70 points. Dumbass mistakes.
You simply cannot leave points on the board in these types of games.

When you play OLE MISS, TEXAS TECH, CAL and these types of silly air raid offenses...... you need a zillion points to win sometimes.
