Rey, Williams is likely a top 5-10 pick,so he won't there. Davis probably will. Even if I could draft either - I still want Davis. You said it he has better YAC. I could be wrong, but I don't remember Williams breaking off a lot of long catches. It's Davis for me, no matter what.

I'm glad Williams had a great game. If he gets selected first, Corey Davis just might fall right in our lap. I think Dalvin Cook also gets pushed up before we pick.

As awesome as that would be ... I think both Wilson and Davis are both top 20 picks. There's even a good chance both those guys are gone prior to our pick. I would be happy with 4-5 Corners in Rd 1 though ... which is the position I see us ultimately ending up with.

I have done a number of mocks and M. Williams fell in every one. That said I am a Davis fan. I would like very much for JuJu to somehow fall to us in the 2nd if we go CB first.

The word is that JuJu is a prima donna, and whined during the Rose Bowl that he was not getting the ball enough. I understand that, but we don't need a whiner.

Daniel Jeremiah's first mock of the season has us taking Mike Williams in the 1st. Davis went 10th to Buffalo.

I prefer Davis, but will jump for joy with Williams. Davis is faster and better RAC. Williams is more physical. If we get Williams, then we still need a deep threat. DJAX; Still; or a draftee ala K.D. Cannon, etc.

I'll be paying extra close attention to the speed guys at the combine next month for sure. If Williams actually drops to our pick I will be thrilled - the Birds will have plenty of mid-range options in FA as well (Garcon, Britt, Woods, Kendall Wright, Kenny Stills) - any of these guys is an upgrade over what we have already.

I like these picks. I think I like Lattimore with our 1st rounder if we can sign Stills or Jeffrey in FA. Lattimore is an elite shutdown CB and we need that.

Lattimore is my #1 Corner in this draft ... followed by Sidney Jones 2nd and Quincy Wilson 3rd.

Lattimore has an excellent skill set and actually tackles people. I'll take him! I suspect the Eagles have a very high grade on him. The scary thing is that he's expected to get even better as a pro!

What I like about Lattimore most is his ability to look into the backfield while still sticking to his man. That ability is not evident in many Corners coming out and is often what limits players at the next level. Lattimore hasn't even started that many games in college either ... he still has a good deal of upside.

I still want Corey Davis in the 1st, and then go CB in the next 2 rounds, since the draft is loaded with good corners.

I'm with ya duke ... either Williams or Davis if there first. If both gone then I start looking at the CB's on the board ... I also love WR John Ross, just not sure if that's too high for a non 6 foot WR. I would look to trade down if both Williams and Davis are off the board by our pick if we are going CB.

Ross is too small, and it may be in our best interest to trade back if Williams or Davis are not there. As others have mentioned, the draft is CB heavy and we could still get good value. It also could net us an extra draft pick which could be beneficial in later rounds to move up a bit or an extra guy. It appears that last year we did well drafting in the later rounds (we got 3 decent players in the 5th - 7th round).

If we have continued success in drafting in the later rounds this could help turn around the mess chip left us.

Totally agree with you on that. With all the holes we have, we can use all the picks we can get. As far as Ross, we can another speed receiver later (K.D. Cannon?), while drafting 2 stud corners, a running back, DE, LB, and add 2 OL, since we may move on from Kelce and Barbre.

I meant to add Ryan Switzer, UNC, as a guy we can get in the mid-rounds. He reminds me a little bit of Beasley, who drives us nuts. We can use that type , don't you think?
