Shit, this caught my eye too dash...

Other marquee forwards waiting for their first goal: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Edmonton), Henrik Sedin (Vancouver), Derek Roy (Dallas), Simon Gagne (Los Angeles), Scott Gomez (San Jose. His next goal will be the 10th he’s scored over the last three years.)

It shows it's more about team chemistry than high priced individuals. Maybe the GM's will wise up with these contract's to URFA's..........I doubt it.

Corey Perry has 1 goal on the year, and it came in the first game of the season. He and Kessel are destroying my fantasy team this year.

I wonder how many people took Vanek this year. He's a very good player but not too many people would have thought he would light it up the way he has.

I hope Darcy Regier remembers that Oilers offer sheet to Vanek, Boss and decides to put Lowebellini to the test down the road...

I really don't know Boss, I think he wants to stay in Calgary and I can't blame him for that. I think he also realizes that his chances of contending for a Stanley Cup if he does stay in Calgary are slim and none. I do know that Flames management won't ask him to waive his NTC, he will have to go to them first.

I feel bad for the guy, he's a class act and it would be nice to see him winning the cup. It would be great if it happened in Calgary but...

I find it interesting that they list Gomez as a notable Sharks forward. If I remember correctly he signed for 700K.

Meanwhile Ryane Clowe is making 3.6M and hasn't scored a goal this year and he isn't mentioned at all...

If that's the case you're right it's no big deal.

I thought his job was sitting in the Penalty Box for others?

Considering how well the Sharks have played to start the season the fact they aren't running on all cylinders is kind of :scared:

I think that article is part of the reason Gomez fell off so much. He's not a goal scorer, he's a playmaker. So when the media is sounding the alarms after every game when he doesn't score, it's going to screw with him mentally. Let him backcheck and get assists, that's what he's good at.
