So I thought there was a thread on this a while back but couldn't find it. It premiered last Monday and the next episode hits tomorrow. Loved the book, one of my all time favorites. This series is soooo well done I almost giggled like a school girl through it. There are differences between the series and the book but it's just as good. Really, really, impressed. Check it out. You won't be sorry.

I thought about it then I realized I'm a pirate. Argh.
I enjoy a good sail with he best of them.

But I like staying on solid ground whenever possible. Especially if the cost to stay on solid ground is reasonable.

True enough. You may have guilted me into subscribing.

I may wait until they are all up then sign up for the free week. I think the service is a fair price, I just do not want another service no matter the cost. I have Netflix and Amazon Prime, that's enough for now.

Is Hulu the one that's also getting the new Aaron Paul show?

That might make it more tempting.

Cuz otherwise Netflix and Primee just offer so much more.

What is the benefit of Prime?

FX shows. HBO ones(if you don't have HBO and access to Go). Different movie selections. And other various shows Netflix doesn't have anymore.

For example, 24 left Netflix and was on prime last I saw.

I believe it's also beneficial if your a reader. But not positive.

Red Oaks and Bosch were pretty solid Amazon shows.

Episode 2 was pretty good. Starting to veer a little more from the book I think but still great.

The casting is perfect so far.

Reading the book now then going to watch it. Very interesting so far as a book, I know it will translate well into a tv show.

The book is fantastic. You'll have to ignore the sophomoric conclusions he draws at the end but seriously, one of my favorites. it's translates very well.
