Part of me wonders if they fined Goldson that much in preperation for Suh's appeal for too large of a fine.

Meriweather deserved 200k. Thanks to the Godsend that is NFL network, I saw him commit attempted manslaughter twice in about 5 minutes of each other. Suh's block was a bear hug compared to what Meriweather did.

And yet the media continues to make Suh out to be some sort of dirty monster... fuggin assholes.

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I wonder sometimes if the media has something against the Ford's. After all, they are the only ones who didn't bow down to the Liberal bail out. Not to bring politics into it, but we all know who controls the media. Where do the Skins play? Oh ya, DC.

What about Bernard Pollard. How many guys is he going to concuss before they do something about it? He lowers the crown of his helmet plowing on into the RBs head and knocks him out. Noone even mentioned anything about it.

I heard a story before that when these fines are appealed they are quietly lowered and no one remembers what was paid but just what was issued.

BW hit deserves a suspension if I ever saw one. Twice in one game he leads with his helmet. But Suh throws a questionable block and he is hit with 100k fine. These are not even comparable.

What BW is against the rules today or last year.

Don't get me wrong when Suh delivered his stomp he needed a suspension and I completely agree with what he got but how about some fucking consistency!

He got the suspension lifted and got the fine. Yes I do believe it will set the standard going forward on habitual offenders.

I was fined after the Cardinals game for yelling loud enough for the entire house to hear. Since I am a repeat offender I just barely missed out on a suspension since there was no profanity involved. I am now required to spend "quality" time with my wife and kids rather than watch football all day long.

I appealed on the basis the fine was excessive and was flatly denied. I am most definitely looking at a suspension next time. I have grown tired of the lack of consistency of my fines. I can walk into the house from my garage and scream "where in the fuck is the nozzle for the hose?" only to turn and find my 9 yr standing 4 ft from me and that is met with laughter. But one scream of "you have got to be kidding me!!!" is met with an exorbitant fine. Absolute bullshit.

Meow, I think you might have a chance if you bring the Geneva Convention into it.

Me? I suffer in silence (while starting numerous dumpster fires).

Except when they bring me cold food. Then I'm very vocal.

A local talking head was saying yesterday how Golson wasn't dirty, all the illegal hits were just aggressive play. He says Suh is dirty because he stomps on people and cuts their legs from behind. We know that Suh has done a few questionable things but there's a huge difference between a low block and constant head hunting. I don't recall a single person locally saying Suh wasn't dirty but only one person locally actually said that what Golson is doing is dirty. I heard this week that Golson has the most personal foul penalties in the league over the last 4 seasons yet he's been fined 1/3 of what Suh has been fined over that time. Last week all the talk was about Suh while Clay Matthews is clothes-lining guys out of bounds. I heard one person on ESPN last week ASK if we need to start MAYBE looking at Matthews as dirty and it was immediately dismissed by the others. Nope, we can't even talk about if Matthews is dirty, it's not even up for discussion. It's just sad!!

What's really sad is this attempt at cutting Suh

I didn't realize what a train-wreck thug Aldon Smith is. It's too bad, too, because he's got as much talent as a pass rusher as anyone in the league, but he'll be in prison in a few years if he can't get his shit together...

Or worse, he'll go crazy and block someone on an INT return.

The combined fines of all players involved in the fight between New England and the Jets was 25,000 less then Suh got.
