I think he might. This is pretty much a must win. They really need a split in Miami.Makes sense but Doc won’t do it.
Going down 0-2 isn't good even if Embiid comes back for the home games in Philly

His FGA's are likely down because his decline has started and he can't get himself open/create separation like he used to and the refs don't seem to buy his flops as much anymore.
I never understood this take when he shoots 33% from deep.People jumping all over Harden for not scoring as much just need to look at how his FGA's have declined from Houston to Brooklyn to Philly.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
With Brooklyn: 16.0 shots per game on .414 shooting (.332 from downtown)
With Philly: 13.6 shots per game on .402 shooting (.326 from downtown)
He's no longer the same player he was in Houston. Father Time is right on his heels.
I think it's an ego thing for him because of his relationship (or lack thereof) with the Philly media.I think he might. This is pretty much a must win. They really need a split in Miami.

And, like Westbrook, he hasn't really added any "old man" to his game and it's costing him.
Niang at the 4 and Harris at the 5 gives them the ability to really stretch the floor.I think it's an ego thing for him because of his relationship (or lack thereof) with the Philly media.
I just hope he has a short leash with DAJ and is willing to with Niang at the 5 or throw in Bassey.
I'm gonna blame his affinity of strip clubs for his quick decline in play. He packed on the lbs. when he forced his way outta Houston and his conditioning hasn't been the same.
It sure didn't help.
Recently, I forget if it was on Dan Patrick or Cowherd, they were comparing the declines of Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Cam Newton. They were comparing that they are all right around 32/33, have depended mainly on athleticism and all are in fairly steep declines and none have adjusted their game.
I don't think it matches up exactly with each of them, but it's close enough to be interesting.
When was Harden supposed to add this? It became evident after he was traded to Brooklyn. He lost his entire summer to add to his game as he was solely focused on physical therapy for the hamstring. He did little summer work this past year. This summer is the time for him to reflect on what he needs at add that. Harden doesn’t belong in conversation yet with the other two.It sure didn't help.

I agree with him but for different reasons. I think Maxey’s speed is the only thing left that could give the Sixers the semblance of advantage here with no Embiid.JJ Redick thinks the Sixers need to take Harden off the ball a little bit.
Big ask for Tobias to take on Bam.Niang at the 4 and Harris at the 5 gives them the ability to really stretch the floor.
That's interesting for sure. You think the 76ers offer JH a max deal? If they do they gotta screw loose.
Not by himself. I think they should rotate Harris, Bassey and Reed. Give them each like 15-16mpg at C.Big ask for Tobias to take on Bam.
Then again, there might not be anybody else....

Harris held his own vs Siakam and Siakam is a more versatile offensive cover than Bam. I think he will be fine.Big ask for Tobias to take on Bam.

I don’t know what to do with Doc. I don’t think he’s a great coach or the right coach for this squad but the possibility of Dantoni scares me. I think he’s an even worse fit than Doc.If they lose and don't look good in losing.....Doc needs to go.
There are adjustments that can be made but if he doesn't.....he's just too arrogant and headstrong.
Bring in DA maybe. But, he'd want to trade Embiid and install Harris as the FT C....LOL.
