What a dominant start by Severino though. 12 K's and 1 ER allowed in 7 IP. Offense picked him up in the 8th by scoring 3 runs then the pen ruined it.

I believe the stat was 6 walks in 2 innings vs 10 White Sox hitters

Only good sign was Clippard did a hell of a job to get out of the bases loaded no outs jam with the Yanks still leading but man Betances was all over the place.

Drew Pomeranz now has a 3.81 ERA to go along with a 3.65 FIP. Over his last 8 starts he has 2.66 ERA with 50 Ks and 11 BBs, and that's with a BABIP of .339. Only threw 83 pitches yesterday and only went 5 innings, but that was with over an hour of a rain delay.

Rockies lose their 7th in a row as the Giants win back to back games for the first time in a month.

Yankees dont need a starter

They need Brad Hand

So tired of Girardi, guy cant piece together 2 innings out of his pen

So tired of Betances, gut can never throw strikes....

Think that pen faced 13 batters and walked 8

Judge, Wade, Sanchez, Severino, Tanaka

Thats all i care about the rest of this season

I'll be interested to see what Brad Hand gets in terms of a trade package. 2nd straight really good season out of him, he's under contract for 3 more years after this. I can speak from experience that trading away assets for relievers isn't the best idea, but the Yankees have a surplus of them.

6 walks and a HBP in 13 batters faced. Plus a wild pitch. Giving up a 2-run lead while allowing just 1 hit.

Ive heard him having an Andrew Miller type impact.....

Im real curious to see what direction Cashman goes.......He has been steadfast in the thought they will not surrender top prospects this July, but they will take on $$$$ (prob eliminates Hand).....

Im ok with that approach, I think they are too many pieces away from real title contention

The Gleyber Torres injury is more severe than people think, he was absolutely coming up in July, to hopefully fix the 3rd base, and prob 1st base problem

Im starting to really want them to sign Hosmer this offseason, I think he is the perfect fit on this team

May be talking about Travis Shaw for Tyler Thorburg, which has not gone well

Well, its gone well for me
Actually the first one that popped into my head was Bagwell for Larry Anderson.
