Not only has the offensive incompetence returned for another day but the pitching performance has lowered the bar - significantly. None of Wood, Brebbia or Littell are doing anything to make this game close. It is currently 1-8 in the 5th.

Nice at bat for Yaz. Too bad it ended in a strikeout and it doesn't really matter, now, to chase the starting pitcher.

Really like what I'm seeing from Llovera. He gives up the leadoff double but proceeds to get a ground out, strikeout and foul out to get out of the inning unscathed. He's earned a roster spot for sure.

Luis Gonzalez pitches another clean inning. Does this mean he's going back to Sacramento tomorrow?

Bart really looks out of his element at the plate. He's flailing at everything. Pitchers don't need to worry about locating their pitches with him.
