Rodman has a 7'2'' wingspan, he'd be best placed guarding Durant. Pippen would match up great against Green, which would allow him to play more team defense. Put Jordan on Curry and rotate on Thompson.
The Celtics were physical in the front court, but they ran one of the great passing offenses ever, they could play today's game with the best in my opinion.
Those Bad Boy Pistons' teams were more talented than many give them credit for.
Thomas, Dumars and Rodman are HOFers who were in their primes.
Laimbeer, Vinnie Johnson, John Salley and Mark Mguire were all very good players as well.
There are some teams from history that had enough good scoring options to match GS. The 85 Celtics had HOFers at all 3 front court positions plus Ainge and Dennis Johnson. The Bad Boys of Detroit, The Magic Lakers and the 1970 Lakers come to mind.
Those Pistons teams would have had interesting...
The later Rodman teams would have been able to apply great defense on 3 of GS's players, Rodman taking Durant. That would have given them a chance to neutralize their offense. GS's defense would have been tough as Those Bulls didn't have a wealth of scorers.
Cute won't win many games against a very complete team like GS.
I think they need somebody to matchup with Green or Thompson on defense and offense.
Other than Jimmy Butler, I don't see anybody else with that capability who might be available.
