I said I find it funny. Calipari is the biggest cheater there is. Kentucky would have never been getting these players if he hadn't went there and continued his cheating like he did at Umass and Memphis. He's hiding it better now, though.

No,No No, you have it wrong... It was all on Marcus Camby, lol

Never getting these players?

Hmmm... I realize counting isn't a strong suit of North Carolina considering all the academic fraud that has gone on there but the last time I checked 8 > 5. Just saying.

You do realize that Camby was a Jr in college when all that went down right? My point you ask? His situation, along with the deal at Memphis had nothing to recruiting violations but sure, Cal has to cheat to get good players. :L

Paying someone to take the SAT for Derrick Rose isn't a violation?

Nah, you keep it... and if you believe that cal and worldwide wes had no knowledge of this, or why rose choose memphis over indiana, then I've got more ocean front property right here in Ohio that I'll sell you. Coach cal's biggest accomplishment is having two final-four appearances vacated at two different schools. No one else can say they were able to pull that one off!

Really? You don't know why Rose picked Memphis over IU... first, let me ask you a question. Have you ever been to Indiana?

I would also argue that his biggest accomplishment is winning the National Championship in 2012 but I guess that's a matter of perspective. :L

Ok, you're right. Coach Cal is the cleanest coach in college basketball. Hell.. so is Roy Williams and UNC. Both should win awards for their amazing levels of integrity.

I'm not saying the man doesn't walk the line with how he does things... I'm sure he did. Now? Not so much in my opinion.

People can point and talk all they want regarding UMass and Memphis but the truth is pretty simple in my opinion. Camby was a Jr in college and was trying to be bought with whores, money, and cars (Kind of like Louisville's current recruiting style) to sign with a specific agent. He went in another direction and said agent blew the whistle. Not sure how that has anything to do with Cal.

Memphis is a different beast obviously. That said, I would have to believe that 99.9% of coaches don't have a freakin clue where players take their ACT/SAT test. Was Rose's location fishy? Hell yes it was... is that on Cal, the Memphis Administration, or the NCAA Clearing House (which cleared Rose on two separate occasions)? I'm leaning more so towards the latter two but that's just me.

Again, I'm not saying that Cal is an angel here. I am saying that man doesn't need to cheat to get the best players because of his track record of helping said players get to the league in 1 or 2 seasons on average.

Now, you along with many other's can hate on the man all you want but I would be willing to bet that outside of only a handful of programs (Duke, UNC and the likes) 98% of programs and fan bases would run through fire to have him on your sideline.

So you're saying they didn't have good players prior to Cal?

I assume you are joking, they got good players but they weren't getting close to what they are getting now.

You're totally right man... I mean, the National Championships UK won prior to Cal (7 of them by my count) were all with terrible players that just got damn lucky and/or hot at the right time. :L

Sorry this reply is so late.. too much shit going on. Anyways..

Most coaches probably don't know when or where their recruits take the ACT/SAT, but you can be sure that when it was discovered that Rose(top recruit in the nation?) wasn't smart enough to get into college, that it had his FULL attention. I do get what you're saying about certain college kids thinking their shit don't stink and not abiding by the rules.. that happens when you have garbage like camby on your team. J. Winston raping women down in Florida is another example. But I can't accept that head coaches just aren't aware of recruiting violations taking place under their watch... roy williams had no idea what was going on at UNC?!?! tOSU doesn't get a pass on this either. Jim O'Brien got fired for loaning money.. or something like that. So I do get that this happens almost everywhere. I just believe that Cal and R. Williams are dirtier than most... they're just good at covering their tracks. If it helps, I do think Cal is a saint compared to pitino.

While I don't disagree with anything you're saying about the coaches knowing/not knowing about recruiting violations, I simply need to reiterate that neither case involving Cal had anything at all to do recruiting violations. Trust me, everything is well documented for those who actually want to look it up.

Typically or historically, if a program gets into trouble, it almost always surrounds "recruiting violations", which is why Cal is automatically pinned as a "cheater" because it's the easy way out for people who want to hate on him.
