Well great. In a couple of years, EVERY team's DBs will tackle like Texas Tech's and TCU's did last year.

The "matador/ole" method of tackling.

Concussion awareness is no doubt the driving force behind all this, with the report itself coming after several studies were released on the subject and the NCAA conducting its own ‘Safety in College Football Summit’ last February. There has certainly been a general trend in this direction already, with the Big 12 limiting in-season contact to no more than twice a week back in 2015.

I never came close to making college football so I don't know how it works but in high school we had no contact during two a days, they were all about conditioning. The practices were grueling where you'd commonly see guys throwing up on the sideline, but if players aren't in great shape they get hurt, 2 a days were seen as the snap conditioning from a soft summer. Seems like eliminating the practices would lead to more injuries.
