Thought we were gonna be shitty this year, didn't renew my tickets. Anyone else care to confess?

I didn't have a ton of expectations for the year. Figured around .500 and no better then 3rd. They have played well most nights and do seem to have more of an attitude then previous years. Despite the holes they have it feels more real then 2014 when they won 87. Hopefully tweaks are made in the next few months to solidify things.

I didn't expect anything at the start of the year either. Regardless, the year is a win just because of the ownership change. That said, damn I hope they make the playoffs.

Hovering around .500 is what I expected.

Like most I expected nothing. After that 1st home series got brushed aside it was nice to see them actually play good baseball night after night along with winning the games.

I've been saying give it 50 games to tell if they're for real or not, but we're 40 games in and another 10 games won't do anything to change my opinion... this is a good team.

They could always crash and burn and we haven't been too hurt by injuries, so let's hope they can stay consistent through other hardships that will surely come.

I'll start hoping for playoffs after the All Star break. Til then I'm gonna keep enjoying watching good baseball finally being played.

Figured we'd be similar to last year in the 74-78 win range and 4th place. And we still might. But I have more faith than I had in February.

I was kinda thinking they would be around .500 but no better. Didn't really see much improvement to the team in the off season it seemed there would be a step forward followed by a step back over and over again.

Truth be told I am still not completely convinced they are truly playoff caliber but I think they are close enough that a couple of in season upgrades could get them there.

It is obvious this team is different than the teams Jack Z was putting out there. They are fun to watch again and the quality of play is much better than any team Jack Z put out there. I am just enjoying the ride!

I was tempted to buy the smallest season ticket package when we went for fan fest but held off. If there was an every-Sunday package then I would probably do that, but living 50 miles from the stadium doesn't allow me to hit many games in the middle of the week.

Just keep your fingers crossed, everyone, and hope that the embarrassment of that Twins series isn't a sign of collapse.

Whether they end up good or not to me is kind of irrelevent in a way cause this team isn't a DiPoto finished product yet, it's just nice watching exciting baseball again. I can't remember in recent years where I even turned a game on the day after a cluster fuck series like the Twins or even Angels in April.

Great point... So far, he's off to a solid start giving hope for the future of this franchise...

It's definitely fun being able to have a discussion of who we should buy at the trade deadline instead of who we should sell at the deadline...

I don't think we will be sellers, but it is a foregone conclusion we'll be buyers? If the sentiment is that this is just the first year of the Dipoto unfinished product, wouldn't that match up with not shipping off prospects in return for someone who would help us win now moreso than in the future? I'm not expecting anything dramatic either way at the deadline.
