One thing I really miss about the TSN Wednesday Night broadcasts is that it was almost always a double-header. I don't think SN has shown two games on Wednesday save the opening week. Why didn't us eastern folks get to watch Van-AZ last night?

Oh well, gave me a chance to watch the Raptors lose to the fucking Timberwolves.

You, as a Canuck fan, saw your team in the playoffs last year and in 6 of the past 7 years.

I, as a Leaf fan, have seen my team in the playoffs once since George W. Bush's first term and have watched my team try to avoid a rebuild as if going through one would turn everybody in the front office into sea urchins.

Just the slightest difference in situations, wouldn't you agree?

Wasn't 2017 supposed to be the year the Leafs got everything on account of their centennial? WC's in STL, draft's in Chicago, ASG is in LA...

Not that I would ever attend any of those events (I don't mind the WC, but no WC will ever compare to the Big House), but what gives lol

It's all grey to me. The Leafs will in all likelihood finish in the bottom 3 and wind up picking 4th because this is the first season the top 3 picks are up for grabs via lottery and we're talking about the Leafs. I'm pinning my hopes on Tkachuk's kid and praying he can re-produce his London form with Marner on the big club.
