Boston College has played 2 FCS teams already this year.

The 14 and 9 points only given up to Florida St and Duke seem pretty good. That's the lowest both teams have been held too.

So I'd say good defense, but doubtful it's the best.

Well one of those FSU TDs was a defensive TD. So the BC defense only gave up 7 points to FSU.

Nice to see Washington and Stanford making the list. Both deserve it playing really good D this year.

Bama and Michigan are in their own league so far when it comes to defense.

[QUOTE="clarkson23devils, post: 7363848, member: 566": Watch that huskies defense. They looked solid

That one kid they got Budda Baker is really fucking good. He was all over the field vs USC.[/QUOTE]
They shut down very fast SC receivers and adoree was on offense the bulk of the game. Albeit SC should have kept the ground game going but sark.... Washing tons defense was impressive regardless tho far more impressive than stanfords IMO

Both of those defenses go up against pretty high scoring teams this week. TAMU averages 39.2 points per game and MSU averages 31.3.

I'm still not sold in Michigan. I knew they were going to lose to Utah. They need to be tested more before I can give them credit.

They are certainly much improved. Large margins of victory over BYU and Northwestern make me think that they are pretty good. Should be another good test this week against MSU.

I don't see them beating MSU. I'm not impressed with byu or northwestern. IMO Michigan is a product of the competition level they have played. Until they can show me they can do it against top tier talent I can't buy into the hype. Right now Michigan is nothing more than ESPN harbaugh hype

Maybe, but in addition to their beat downs of both BYU and Northwestern, two teams that don't impress you, they only lost to Utah by seven points. I am picking Sparty to win on Saturday, but I won't be at all surprised if MI wins.

Michigan will fade as they play higher quality teams. It would surprise me to see them beats Sparty or OSU.

Boston College's offensive coordinator should lose his job if the defense is giving up only 196 yards per game and they are win less in conference. They lost a game giving up 3 points and a game where they gave up 9 points. That is pathetic.

They always have a pretty good defense. What surprised me was Missouri is a top 10 defense right now, but 2 spots away from dead last in total offense.

Not at all surprising to me unfortunately. Its like watching the Rams if they didn't have Gurley or Austin.

Its insane that Boston College is 3-3. Should be almost impossible to lose when your allowing a 140 yards per game. BC has lost 3-0 to Wake Forest, 9-7 to Duke, and 14-0 to FSU(and one those FSU TDs was a defensive TD) Anyway if I was Clemson I would be very scared this week.
Sounds like BC is the anti Baylor.

We have the best D in the Big XII....but we haven't scratched the lid off of Pandora's Box yet (TTU, TCU, Baylor).

If we finish in the top 50% after those tests, I'll be content.

But your offensive statistics could go up after those three games.
