USA VS Mexico 930 EST FS1

We are just not that good. If we had talent, a strategy or depth - maybe this loss stings. But it doesn't sting because we are a middling soccer nation that is at best mediocre. Really not a big deal. Soccer and the U.S. will never be any good.

Romeo, you note BS to my post. Fine. But any insight into the regression of possession? Lack of a system? Whereabouts of Julian Green? Lack of defensive cohesion? Development of Altidore (or lack there of)? Inability of the under 23s to qualify for the Olympics? Mexico clearly out playing and scheming the U.S.? A U.S. Forward that consistently steps up to be an offensive threat game in and game out? Point to something, I'm all ears?

I don't blame Kilnsman. I think he is turning over stones. But we don't have a talent pool prepared to elevate the national team style where it is competitive with the world. Still at least a decade away.
