You don't just sit out game 7 with a trip to the NBA finals on the line.

I agree, if it is possible. I mean if you can’t move, you don’t have a choice. It looks to be not very serious

A hammy? He's down for the count on this kind of turn around. Maybe he gives it a shot in game 7 but this is a death blow for HOU...very doubtful he can be very effective if he plays anymore in this series if this is a legit hamstring injury.

Chris Paul will be out there Monday night. Put your next pay check on it

They will shoot him up maybe to play game 7, but you can typically do further damage...I don't expect him to be effective if he does play.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. A hamstring injury doesn't get significantly better in just a few days.

Warriors still had a great chance to win the series whether Paul was gonna be fine or not. Good luck telling that to Rockets fans if the Warriors win the series now, though.

Yeah, if Paul were healthy, the Warriors are still favorites to win Game 6, and if they do so, then it comes down to a Game 7 that is anyone's guess on who wins.

Well, he might not have a choice. I haven't seen any reports on how severe the injury (which is telling) was but the look on his face last night from the time it happened to the time the postgame went off the air said "Damn. I'm done for weeks". It wasn't a look of frustration. It was a look of defeat.

It reminded me of the look on Magic's face when he tried to play in the finals vs. the Pistons when the Showtime Lakers were trying for the 3-peat.

You could tell by his body language and face that he was done for the series.

CP3 had very similar body language and look.

I hope it was just a bit of an overreaction on his part because it would suck for him to miss Game 7. But I agree with you, he looked like he thought he was done for awhile.

He's playing game 7

I agree.

Even if he has to Willis Reed it.

Can't see him missing this game unless he is less than 50%. I do fear he will be limited if he is able to play, however. That did not look like a 3 day injury to me.

That said, it is defintely the right play to rule him out of game 6. GS is likely to win that with CP3 at full strength. Give him as much time a second possible to heal and hope for the best in game 7.

Warriors luck out again.

Last year it was Kawhi Leonard going down.

This year it’s Chris Paul.

Chris Paul is the headliner, Andre Iguodala is not.

But this series would be over already if Iggy had not gotten hurt.

Are they "lucky" that CP3 is hurt? I guess so. But the Rockets are equally lucky that Iggy's injury helped them wrest series momentum from the Warriors.

Maybe not "equally" lucky but definitely "also" lucky

To bad to see this. I think a healthy Chris Paul gets the Rockets to the final, let's see how they do without a healthy Chris Paul for Game 6.

We can beat the Celtics or Cavs without Paul... We have to somehow find a way to beat the W's in game 7...Game 6 will be a washout... I'm sure we can do it but it just got tougher... Nothing good comes ez.

I still feel like we going to win it all this year!!!

The bad thing about a hamstring from my experience...time and therapy are the best healers....but if it's a strain instead of a slight tear...they can probably give him a shot for pain, but it will be hard to trust it for a good while.

Then again, I'm not a pro athlete nor a Dr so we shall see, but this suck for HOU fans.

Its funny, every team left besides the Warriors is feeling better today about their shot at a title than they did yesterday.

I think it's rarer for a team to be 100% this late in the season. Injuries are just apart of it. In 2009 Bynum was hurt against Dwight and the Magic in the Finals, in 2010 Kendrick Perkins was out for Game 7 of the Finals. You can go on down the list when you look at NBA history.

Yeah in the end, who won gets written in the history books. Who was hurt doesn't.

Now i have to pull for the Dubs

A Celtics-Paul-Less Rockets finals will just about put me to sleep for a week

If the Rockets pull this off, what a huge missed opportunity this will be for Lebron
