Its not like they had a choice in the matter. You can only protect so many guys. Even if Nash didnt have a NMC and we protected Lindberg they would have just taken Raanta or Fast. Either way it was going to be a loss. Im not going to get into a Hank argument with you but you cant cherry pick stats and be like see he was never great. I will say that we shouldnt be proud of the Vegas win because the problems were still there and if it wasnt for the fact that Vegas is starting OHL goalies we would have lost.

im hearin ya bout who to protect.... but sorry , great goalies know how to handle the puck, lundy, throughout his career was terrible, and NEVER improved. and, his track record of giving up a goal under 2 minutes means he is NOT staying focused, imo.
moving forward.. rangers played a very good game vs the bolts, hopefully the beginning of something positive, or do they just get up for contenders?
i do see why this team has struggled, and i might have mentioned it b4, the Dman are going too deep, its all about offense with AV... maybe they have figured it out?

Maybe the players finally got tired of answering the same question over and over again so they finally played the way they were suppose to. I agree with the only offense, our forwards sit there and cherry pick trying to get shots and points and it leads to extended zone time for the opponent and the D looks like they are always one step from just running up the ice and the main part of their job suffers.

feels like the rangers are back on track.... still, staal, AV having him involved in the offense, i just don't get it.... rangers need to pick up a, LOL, stay at home dman.. go figure after gettin rid of girbarfee

Oh I agree our defense is still terrible. Hank has had no shot because our defenseman are just standing around doing nothing. If you want to watch hockey buy a ticket. Also why is Kemper still in the lineup he is almost as bad as Staal. Shitty has also been terrible. If Beuk and Ruff cant get these guys to actually play defense its the players.
