Yes 2006 AFCG Pats are up 21-3 and going for more when a penalty on Brown I believe nullifies it and the drive stalls. Reche Caldwell had 3 easy drops, one in the endzone and one inside the 10 with a clear path for the endzone. He must have layed some serious duckets on the Colts

Are you implying that the 3-13 Browns team he took over was the same talent level as the 8-8 Patriots team he took over? His 5th year in Cleveland was submarined by the move announcement as well.

No I'm not saying that at all. But the talent level gap isn't nearly as large as the gap in success. Yes, that team went 3-13 the immediate year before he arrived, but they were just 2 years removed from going to 3 out of 4 AFCCG.

The Patriots under Carroll were on a downward spiral too and the change only occurred when Brady took over.

And the Patriots were 5-13 under Belichick, with a number one pick in Bledsoe, before Brady took over and immediately went 14-3 down to the Super Bowl win.
