Nah it shouldn't be WTF. Beamer's offense is atrocious and has been scaring players away for years. Hopefully he will bring a better future starting after the bowl game. It's all up to him

Hamilton to Penn State huh?? That certainly stinks for us as he looked like the best true WR VT might land this year. Prince is blazing fast, but does not play the position in HS and might need time. Hamilton's recruitment seemed odd the whole way. Is there any connection between he and Hack??
So who is left on the board Evan? Any chance we try to get after another "sleeper" WR?? I know there are a couple OLinemen in the mix as well.

Agreed - I was thinking the same as well. This is a pretty telling sign to our staff when offense-related recruits like this get away for the likes of PSU and Illinois. This probably just further the case for change at VT (I hope).

I have a feeling we hold the offer and use it in 2014 unless we find an absolute sleeper...

Those drops were by Davis mainly and some by Roberts. Next year I think we will actually be better with Coles, Knowles, Stanford and if some guys like Caleb and Asante step up we could be pretty good at WR especially if we can get a guy like Meyer to surprise people

No idea how he has progressed since he got here, but i talked to a guy who covered his HS and he was VERY high on Irick. FWIW this same guy is an SEC ref so he has seen quite a bit of good football in his day.
I posted what the guy had to say on here before, ill see if i can find it...
