Donta Wilkins has re-opened his recruitment.

Hoos just fired their DC Jim Reid. He was head recruiter for Tim Harris. Any chance we jump at this?

not just Reid. Also DL coach/recruiting coordinator Jeff Hanson, RB coach Mike Faragalli, and TE coach Shawn Moore.

Smoke wasn't even considering us during his recruitment. I think he claimed to have a top list of UVA, Clemson, UNC, and WVU.

He will visit Virginia, Michigan State, UNC, likely Miami (in lieu of Penn State), and his fifth still undecided.

Its not a reopening of recruitment. Its a kid that wants to see the world.

Smoke will not go anywhere other than UVA, too many influences.

No we did not. No shot at getting him. He is pretty good though.

James Church Jr (Salem HS, VB) just committed to Norfolk State. The staff stopped in to see him last week and offered him a preferred walk on at VT. He was also an option if Hamilton falls through. Good looking receiver (reminds me a lot of Boykin in HS) and a great kid.

That has got to suck for Bowens watching the coaches come in and not really give him a wink, but shake hands with the second best receiver on the team. Is anyone going to give him a scholarship in light of his history??

Seeing more Tim Harris talk... would he be a DB for us? Do we need him with Fuller and Fisher in the fold (of course, we'd never turn down a 4 star recruit of any kind). Just curious about the excitement about hi opening up his recruiting.

Speaking of guys named Harris, is Drew Harris all set to join the program? In January? Is he all healed up?
