My sources would not say who the $1.6 billion handshake agreement was with other than he is a real estate developer based in New York City. The problem, according to these sources, is the potential buyer is not liquid, meaning he does not have the cash to buy the Marlins because his net worth is tied up in real estate. Thus, for the real estate developer to purchase the Marlins would likely require more debt than MLB would be comfortable with.

I really don't know if the Ibaka trade happening the day after Lowry called out the front office in the media was reaction or coincidence but I look at what the Kings got for Cousins and I truly wonder if what the Raptors sent to Orlando for Ibaka with a couple more picks thrown in and one of Norm or Delon wouldn't have landed Boogie in Toronto and given the Raptors a team capable of matching up with the Cavs (and left them with JV to flip for bench depth to replace and upgrade on Norm or Delon).

I will not watch a blinking moment of the World Baseball Classic but I did see highlights this morning of Roberto Osuna spark a comeback by mighty baseball power Italy by serving up three straight doubles and two runs and I must say that cannot be good lol.
